Coach Mark Lincir, FHSC Director of Training

Mark LincirMark brings a wealth of soccer experience to our club. He has been with the Fountain Hills Soccer Club since 1998 and is responsible for developing and implementing the club-wide training program to which all of our players have access. He is responsible for all clinics and camps offered to club players and coaches. Mark also volunteers his time assisting with the boy’s high school varsity soccer program at Fountain Hills High School.

Mark is a former professional soccer player, having played three seasons in the United Soccer League—a minor league to Major League Soccer. He played four years of college soccer at Cal State University Dominguez Hills where he was a two-time All-Conference selection and a three-time Academic All-American. He was also named the CSUDH Male Scholar Athlete of the Year for three consecutive years.

My Soccer Life In ShortsMark has run hundreds of weeks of soccer camps during his fifteen years as a professional soccer trainer and has even taken a youth team to participate in European tournaments. He has coached at the club, high school and junior college levels and holds a USSF “B” National Coaching License. He also works as a realtor for John Hall & Associates when he’s not on the field.

Mark has written a recently published book on soccer called, “A Soccer Life in Shorts.” “It took a while, but I’m very excited to finally see it out there.
